These projects are much more involved and can span a few days to months. After you contact us with your project needs and request an estimate, we will conduct an initial phone meeting to determine some project specifics and to make sure that we are the best fit for you. Next we will schedule a meeting to review the space and for us to gather detailed information needed to create an estimate. We will then prepare an estimate for you to review. Once we agree on the details of the project, we will promptly begin the project.
These projects can vary greatly, but will follow a similar plan of action. The first step will be getting your architectural plans finalized, permit applied for with the necessary municipalities and finalizing your site plan and property elevations. For smaller renovation or remodeling projects the first step can be skipped. Next we will lay out a detailed specification, allowance and schedule spreadsheet for both of us to be able to refer to during the entire project.
These initial steps will provide the groundwork that we need. Now let the construction begin!
These projects, whether just a bathroom update or a new home being built, can be exciting journeys or stressful ordeals. We have found that covering as many details up front, communicating expectations clearly and preparing for each stage well in advance will make for a very pleasant process. There will be difficult decisions, but our process will give your plenty of time to make your decisions and selections in a well thought out and relaxed manner. The best way to help you in your preparation, streamline the entire process and for you to get exactly what you want in your home or renovation is to work with a designer. We partner with designer (DSM Design Studio) to proved design/build packages for your project.
Pricing:
We price our jobs either using a Cost Plus or a Fixed Fee pricing structure. Each job will be evaluated and assigned a pricing structure according to the details of the job.
